I am thrilled to announce that I have earned the endorsement of the United Auto Worker's (UAW) Region 2 CAP Council! This endorsement is particularly meaningful to me as my grandfather, John Whitcomb, was a lifelong member of the UAW. I know he would be proud, and I am too!
Today also marks a significant moment in labor history. On this day in 1935, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the National Labor Relations Act, a groundbreaking law that protected workers' rights to organize and bargain for better working conditions and wages.
I firmly believe that America is strongest when workers earn fair wages that allow them and their families to own a home, send their kids to college, and retire with dignity. This belief is at the core of my campaign.
Receiving this endorsement is an honor and a testament to my commitment to fighting for workers' rights and ensuring a brighter future for all Hoosiers.
Thank you for your support, and let’s continue to work together for a stronger, fairer Indiana!
